| This software is the latest innovation for computer aided accounting instruction. It is prescriptive | |
| learning. It contains a combination of tutorial drills on key accounting concepts and a computer | |
| journalizing feature. | |
| It is divided into four sections. Sections 1 and 3 allow you to practice and review while sections 2 | |
| and 4 grade you on the application of what you learned in sections 1 and 3 (your performance). | |
| Problem areas are noted and the computer "prescribes" additional work in the drills section. The | |
| performance journalizing the student does can be graded for the teacher by the computer. When | |
| adopted for classroom use we will provide a free Teacher Disk that has this grading feature. See | |
| an outline of the CPA below: | |
| Section 1...Practice drills on the basic accounting concepts and computations | |
| Section 2...Performance drills on key accounting concepts in the accounting cycle | |
| Section 3...Practice journalizing with prescriptive review | |
| Section 4...Performance journalizing | |
