Computer Tutorials ....To help the beginning accounting student, we have a software program called, "C.P.A. Journalizer". With it you can learn the rules for debits and credits, how the accounts are classified, and get practice on journalizing many types of transactions. For the tutorials, as you make your responses the computer will give you immediate feedback on right or wrong answers. The performance journalizing can be used to have the computer grade your work and give you a printed copy of your entries with the errors noted.  The more times you use 'THE C.P.A.' the better you will learn the material. DOS Tutorial Disks.  These computer disks cover most of the crucial concepts you need to know for the entire introductory accounting course. They have been class tested for over 15 years and proven in multiple instances at different colleges to raise the average letter grade about one complete level for those that use it.  You can try this sample program of learning the normal account balances for immediate help. We have tutorials for any type of accounting class on the introductory level. Visit the Products Page for a complete list of the tutorials you can purchase.  [Note:   These run in DOS mode so they are portable.  They can be used on any computer --- at home, at work, at school.]

eBooklets for Accounting.  We have 10 different page-turning booklets that introduce and explain the major concepts found in the accounting cycle for introductory accounting courses.  These provide an excellent way to learn and review and they all have a quick quiz.

Test Preparation PackageIn Section I:  These are tests taken on the computer.  They are mostly objective tests that are true-false, matching, and multiple choice.  The computer grades and scores them for you.  You can check each question as you answer it or wait and get an answer key printed later.    Section Two:  These are problem solving tests that you print out and administer to yourself.  You can also print out the answer keys to check with.  The include problems like statements to be completed, journal entries, etc.
