The Teacher Resource Page

The new CPA Journalizer is a combination tutorial and journalizing aid that has proven to increase student grade averages one complete level. It is generic and is an "electronic" workbook.
Section One: Has general explanations and examples and some interactive drills that are just for practice and can't be saved as results.
Section Two: Has tutorial drills with explanations. These drill on the basic concepts in the accounting cycle.
Section Three: Has simulated journalizing. Here, any mistakes made are noted by the computer and it refers the user back to the appropriate tutor drill in sections 1 & 2 for more practice.
Section Four: In this section there is true journalizing on the computer using our General Ledger software that allows the work to be graded by the computer. The computer finds the errors, prints them out, and prescribes the proper tutor drills for additional work.
Students can download the zipped files to install on their computers, work the drills that are saved to their flash drives, and work the journalizing problems and have them graded by the computer for them.  The drills and journalizing results can be emailed (PDF files) to the teacher as assignments.  NO GRADING FOR THE TEACHER, it is all done by the computer.

Handouts To help the teacher we have several handouts that can be printed out (see below).

Online Tutors You can have your students' subscribe individually or contact us and have class sections created for your students so you can monitor their results online.  These drills are for the first semester accounting class and can be accessed 24/7 from anywhere using the internet.  Classroom tests at different colleges have all proven that the tutorials will raise a student grade an average of one letter.   Click here to check them out.
